Three of these colors are available as part of the regular line...but I had only purchased one of them, Sundance. The others, I hadn't purchased individually. So I was in for a stroke of luck when not only was this collection available, and the price had been reduced...but I got it at a 30% discount, for $12.60. Since these shadow/primers are individually $16 retail, this was a pretty good deal! This kit contains:
- Sundance (sunlit peach)
- Bronzed Twig (iced chocolate)
- Gold Nugget (radiant gold)
- Gunmetal (midnight silver)
- Sandalwood (golden taupe)
Bare Escentuals calls these "primer shadows." Many folks have noted that, unless you have super-dry lids, you have to use your regular primer-of-choice under these, or they crease and fade like nobody's business. That said, getting these in kits or at a discounted price is fairly good. Urban Jungle, the duochrome green-purple shadow, is the first one that I bought, and if I wear it over UDPP I can get 5 or 6 hours out of one application.
