Yesterday we had sun for, oh, 15 minutes...and I ran outside and got a shot of the polish that's been on my nails since Tuesday.
On Monday I received my final "birthday" order, a package of nail polishes. The first one I tried was China Glaze's FYI - a neutral-ish looking color with holographic effects. (Neutral-ish because I have a meeting next week that would probably go better if I were not wearing blue duochromatic polish...and I really wanted to try and let the polish last a while.) I was able to capture the holographic effects, despite a) being not the world's best photographer and b) having one coat of topcoat atop the polish. I used three coats of FYI and one coat of Nubar's Diamont topcoat.
From top left, you can see the predominant green, red-orange, and then (at bottom) the taupe-gold base color.
I really like how the polishes apply, and how they dry fairly quickly. I've previously used Sally Hansen holos and had to really lay the polish on a bit thick, or use four coats, to get good coverage and holographic effects.
