EoTD: Fire Bird

Finishing up the “elementals” theme started just before the 12 days, then on to the next theme/series/thingie. (And thanks to everyone who posted their color-associations for the qualities, both here and other places I put out the call.) I’ve done earth and water, next up is..fire!

Earth - water - fire - air || solid - liquid - plasmoid - gaseous. So the Greeks were on to something. (And yes, technically there are more than four states of matter…but the Bose-Einstein condensates are really just another form of liquid - just liquid that’s already once been in gaseous form…which I guess would include rain, then? Water - evaporation - clouds - rain? Meaning we have no water on the planet by this point, we just have a whole heck of a lot of Bose-Einstein condensation.*)

Part of the One Year Eyecolor Challenge (new colors used: 4)

Eyes

  • TSS' Fire and Brimstone, lash to crease
  • Simply Naturals' Heliotrope, outer crease and beneath lower lash line
  • TSS' Halos and Horns, inner lid
  • Bare Escentuals' Citron, brow highlight

* No, not really. The actual definition of a Bose-Einstein condensate is a bit more fine-tuned than simply "a solid which was once liquid", and true BECs are actually colder than solids. But my Muse of Whimsy liked the sentence.
