Running an utterly informal poll here…when you think of the following qualities or concepts, what color or colors do you “see”? Don’t worry if they match, or if they sound like what everyone else might say. Just list the color or colors you see, in your mind’s eye, for these qualities:

Leave a comment listing the color(s) you see for any or all of these qualities. If you'd like, leave a note why you drew that association. For example, for "pain" I see deep vivid blue - for two reasons. One, when I'm in severe pain, my vision seems to have a blue wash over everything. For another, in the show Babylon 5, there's a line a character says, "the deep blue of pain", that's always resonated with me. It's poetic.
