EoTD: Qualities - Pleasure

I chose bolder colors, but not too vivid, and not too bright - comfortable-bold. Pleasure is a softer emotion, not hard-edged or bright or sharp like Joy or Ecstasy. Pleasure is more graceful, a touch more elegant. (In my own interpretation.)

My next theme is inspired by J. Ruth Gendler's The Book of Qualities. It's a whimsical, lyrical, artful book where the various qualities and emotions - fear, despair, courage, power, sensuality - are all personified. I first read this book in the early 1980s. My mother had been given a copy, and I loved the way the words flowed, the way the qualities were given form and texture and substance, the fancifulness that actually stayed true to how the various qualities manifest themselves in people.
