Alphabet Nail Challenge: G is for Give Me the Moon (by OPI)

I'm participating in an Alphabet Nail Challenge that I found over at Confessions of a Secret Shopper. She's running her contest from September 1 to 26 - start between those dates, and you can add your link to the list of people taking the challenge. All you have to do is post 26 manicures, one a day, each day using a polish that begins with a different letter of the alphabet. I'm using this as an opportunity to go through my backlog of polishes (and photos still on my hard drive!!) to show off some of my newer goodies.

I had originally steered clear of this color because I really didn't want another quasi-sheer white polish. Then I bought a bottle - partially because I had so few polishes from the Night Brights collection, and this looked semi-interesting. It's a bright white with the faintest hints of pale, glowing purple. I was not quite able to get full coverage with three coats, but I got awfully close. I like this polish a little more than I expected to, and I'm glad I got it! I have some other whites, but none that have quite this level of “ethereal glow” going on.
