I was initially interested in this kit because of the colorshifting shadow, and the liner shade. BE’s liners come in the traditional dark colors, but there wasn’t a blackened teal, and I really wanted that one! I found that I like the blush, am not wild about the brush (I do not love the double-ended bits), and really really wish that the mascara came in a waterproof format.

The colorshift shadow looks a little bit like Chanel's Peridot (which I picked up while shopping in Atlanta). Unlike BE's grey/lilac colorshifting shadow, the color change is very apparent with this one! (Directions: pat it on, it's gold; sweep or rub, and it turns blue. [And I wonder how many hits that phrase will get my blog.]) Boost is a near-neutral shade on me, darkening my cheeks just a tiny bit and adding a very very faint gold sheen. Black Sea is great, exactly what I was looking for: a teal that isn't electric, but isn't so dark that it's almost indistinguishable from black.
