BBAC 2013, Day 19: Beauty from the Earth Cosmetics and Silk Naturals

Why am I picking two entire companies as a “favorite beauty thing”? Because a) I can; b) do you know what a pain it is to pick just one favorite product from either of their huge catalogs; and c) the real reason: each of the two companies has a lot of products that perform really well and are a fantastic value. Both Silk Naturals and BFTE have lots of eyeshadows, and create the occasional exclusive kit. They each also sell a small but fairly well-rounded set of face powders, including foundation, blush, bronzer, finishing powder…a pretty good selection, and good quality products.

I've purchased more from BFTE than I have from Silk Naturals; but in the past year I've purchased quite a lot from each of these companies. I've got about half as many more products from each company, still in the “to be swatched and photographed” queue. I've purchased a few items that haven't worked fantastically for me, in terms of color or shade or preference - but nothing that was poor quality, or not a good value.

My current favorite items from each of these companies is: Aloha, Pacific, and Mahalo loose-powder eyeshadows from Silk Naturals; and First Kiss and Dollface blushes, and Liquid Lustre from Beauty from the Earth. But there are so many more!!
