China Glaze’s First Mate

Finally, a navy creme that isn't almost black!! (In the admittedly short time I've been seriously browsing and buying nail polish, navy polishes have either been metallic or glittery or somehow had some other element that picked up the light; or have been so dark as to almost be black.) It's nice to see a brighter navy shade! Two coats gave me completely smooth, opaque coverage - and if you want the polish to be thicker (if you want to use it for nail stamping, for example) just refrigerate the polish for 24 hours before your manicure.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches
