All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Cirque Colors’ Rothko Red

As soon as I decided to try thermal polishes, I knew that I wanted a red-to-black thermal. Unfortunately, most of what I saw was brighter polishes, blues and purples, or whisper-soft pastel thermals. I finally found this from Cirque Colors - a brand that I’d heard of, but hadn’t tried to date. The polish is a brighter red when warm, and a deep black when cold. My nails are shorter in this set of photos so it’s not always easy to see a temperature-change gradient; but it is visible in the 2nd and 3rd photos.
