Concrete Minerals’ Arsenic

Extremely dark, more charcoal than red showing in this. It's equally dark in the pot as it is on my lids, so I don't know if I got a less-than-amazing batch, or something else is at play. The picture on Concrete Minerals' website leads one to believe that there's a tiny bit more red in this color than there actually is. (Not a whole lot more red - but some more.)

Application is decent, but the color payoff seems a little on the light-ish side. It's more a medium-deep charcoal than a black. (And maybe that's intentional.) The shimmer is light, but it's present whether the shadow is applied wet or dry.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
