Concrete Minerals’ Blood and Guts

The aqua isn't overly apparent in this shadow. Mostly what you get is a dried-blood red (hey, don't give me that look! it's called ‘Blood and Guts', so the comparison is apropos) with occasional hints of turquoise. Color payoff is excellent, and the color doesn't try to migrate or fade. Folks with paler coloring may need to be a little careful, though - because it is the color of a fresh bruise, it can end up making you look like you were just punched in the face, if you're not careful with placement and what colors you pair it up with. It does work well as a crease color, if you use it under a semisheer pink or light brown.

This color was added to CM's regular line in early winter 2011, along with Living Dead and The Vaccine.
