Concrete Minerals’ Temptress

One of my first purchases from Concrete Minerals was the Mermaid collection…which I bought largely for this shade. It's slightly blackened, but not so much that the sooty residue overwhelms the teal-blue shimmer. Don't be concerned about the blackening, though. This works well as an all-over shade without looking too harsh or being visually overwhelming (which sometimes happens for me, when I use ‘liner' shadows as regular eye colors.) The shadow is fairly basic in terms of ingredients, so while it applies smoothly (either wet or dry), it won't stay in place very well unless I use a primer or a cream base of some sort.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.

This is one of my favorite CM shades - along with Mad Hatter, Smut, and Hustle.
