Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

EoTD: Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer

Not the last of the holiday theme, but the last of the Christmas carol theme. In an online forum, had jokingly suggested that someone do a carol-themed look using something like “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer”...well, if you're going to pitch out a challenge like that, you should at least be one of the participants - right?

Part of the One Year Eyecolor Challenge (new colors used: 4)

Eyes

  • UDPP, lash to crease (I'm using one single color as the "backing/base", and I have to use this stuff up, so...this seems a good time)
  • TKB Trading's Noble Silver Sparks, lash to brow
  • Simply Naturals' Lilac, inner lid
  • TSS' Born Beautiful, outer vee
  • Simply Naturals' Leaf, upper center crease
  • Lady Burd's Manhunt, upper lash line
  • Sephora's Flashy Mauve pencil, waterline

When putting together the look: I had a picture in my mind: snow (obviously), a caricaturized grandma walking in a green pantsuit and a purple coat that looks like sofa upholstry but she loves it and wears it anyway, a hat knitted by one of the grandkids. Then I found this picture from (I'm guessing) the cover for the 45. Kind of amusing to note that the colors I chose aren't far off the colors they chose...even if the placement's a bit different.
