Femme Fatale Cosmetics’ Peebles

This attracted me as soon as I saw the preview pictures! It's a slightly-cool pink with a medium scattering of gold shimmer with good blendability and staying power. It's just the right shade of deeper rose-pink for me to wear without looking…a bit odd. (Okay, like I'm in the final stages of a case of pink-eye or something similar.) It complements my blue eyes very well!

The gold shimmer is fairly sparse. You won't get a solid gold-interface shimmer layer, more like occasional highlights. Peebles and Princess Princess Princess both act that way - the gold shimmer is present, but it's faint and it's very easy for the base color to take center stage.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.

I like this color best with medium-deep brown or medium violet eyeshadows, with a cream or white as the highlighter. I have a few deep teal-blues in my stash (BareMinerals' DragonFly, Meow's Indulge) that look good with this shade, as well. I haven't yet tried, but can imagine that this would pair up well with a few of the richer shades in Femme's Post Apocalyptic collection like Soul Stone and Marauders.
