This isn't a bright pink. It's got a little bit of salmon undertones in it, making it a really good backdrop for the rich gold shimmer, matching the base color in Equal Rights. I have some pinks with a similar base color, but not an exact match. This may remind you of Cupcake Frosting, released from Fyrinnae last spring. The differences are that Bollywood Babe is a little deeper of a pink, and that it's a full-coverage shadow without the need for layering. (Cupcake Frosting and the other colors released at that time were intentionally semisheer.)
Bollywood Babe has a very nice medium-deep gold shimmer, and there's zero fallout or fading when wearing this shadow all day over primer. Applying it foiled or over something like Pixie Epoxy intensifies the color a little bit, but not dramatically so.
If you're looking for a good pink eyeshadow, this is a great choice. For one, Fyrinnae's shadows are an excellent value. For another, this isn't too soft - though if you prefer a softer color, or a sheer wash, you can always apply it with a fiber optic brush.
This is an excellently-timed spring color release, along with all the other shades in the 60s Retro collection! Now if the local weather would only cooperate, and give us more sun than rain…
