Maybelline’s Color Sensational lipstick in Luminous Lilac (715)

For something with “lilac” in the name, this was surprisingly un-lilac. It was an attractive shade, almost a nude lip with a pearl finish. But…lilac? I guess this is like pink eyeshadows named “Sunshine:” one just goes with it.

This was fairly sheer, like all of the Colorsensational Pearl lipsticks. The pearl finish did highlight a little, but after swatching the ones of this line that I did buy, I can see why it was discontinued. These - and this one in particular - were more like lip tints than lip sticks.
