Maybelline’s Just Beige Color Tattoo cream shadow

A wonderful warm-ish neutral creamy matte…which, sadly, was limited edition. I don't know why Maybelline didn't bring this shade into their regular lineup! It's comparable to MAC's Soft Ochre, maybe a tiny bit lighter. It's a tiny bit deeper and a little warmer than Barely Branded, and Just Beige applies much much better - no uneven spots, and a finish that will look better on more people.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeliner tube or pencil barrel; top right, the eyeliner applied over bare skin, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the eyeliner applied on the eyelid at the lash line.

Since this color is close-ish to my skin color, it gives me a little bit in the way of brightening, but not much else. I think that, for me, I'll mostly use this shade as a colored base - possibly leave the center lid un-powdered, and add contour, inner lid, and upper-lash-line shades.
