Tarte’s Lipsurgence in Perky

Oddly enough for a pencil that looks so...orange, this color applies as a very sheer coralish baby-pink sheen. It added a miniscule amount of tint to my lips, and a very slight reflective finish. The color seemed to stay in place decently (for a sheer Lipsurgence), but honestly, it was a bit difficult to tell that I even had anything on my lips at all. This was one of my least favorite colors from the Lip Service collection. I would have liked it to have a little bit more color payoff - maybe about double what it had.
