It was almost inevitable that I’d get at least one of these: they’re duotone, they’re shimmery, and they’re spiralled like a unicorn’s horn. I initially only got the warm one, but then I looked at swatches of the cool one and decided that I’d like both. I managed to snag them when they were on sale, so I got them for just under $20 each.

On the plus side of the ledger for these, there is a warm one and a cool one, so there’s a highlighter than will look good on either warmer or cooler skintones. Another high point is the color payoff. They’re highlighters, but they’re not on the “invisible” side of sheer. The duotone shimmer is different on each of them, and nicely complements the base color.

Less favorable is the product density. These are a solid cream base, so they will probably shift any makeup applied beneath it.
