Zoya’s Charla

Everyone raved about this color when it came out, and I just wasn't seeing the hype. I didn't like the thought of super-sparkly nail polishes, and all the mania around this one kept me from buying it for a long time. And then it sat on my shelf, unworn, for months. It's not that special, I told myself. I'll get around to photographing it eventually. No big deal.

I was so so very wrong.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

Close-up photo of the middle three fingernails of the left hand, showing the nail color applied. The left hand holding a bottle of nail polish and displaying all manicured fingernails, with 2 coats of Zoya's Charla Four fingers in a row, resting on the thumb, with all nails displaying 2 coats of Zoya's Charla

This kind of shifts through blue, teal, green-blue, and green. I don't know how, I don't know why, but it really is that amazing! It's not precisely a duochrome or multichrome…and yet, it kind of is. A good analogy is someone with blue eyes whose eye color can morph between blue, green, and blue-grey (depending on lighting, colors in close proximity, and moon phase.)
