This is almost a ‘mannequin-hands' color. With two coats it's the exact same as my skintone. With three coats, a little more of the pink undertone shows up. It takes four coats for total opacity. It also applies very smoothly, without any of the pulling or dragging that some creme polishes seem to have. Zoya calls this one a “metallic” shade, and in the bottle there's a very faint shiver sheen; but on the nail, that metallic quality doesn't show up.
I like this color for basic “daily” manicures, when I want something to protect my nail but don't really want to wear a specific color. (If my nails aren't painted, they tend to split and peel more easily.) Two coats of Parker looks better than my plain nail beds with Nail Envy or something similar, because it evens out the color of my nails. (I guess that Parker's my nail-foundation shade, then?)
It's also like a manicure palette-cleanse: it's a neutral color, it's a clean color, it's not got any special effects, it's a way to “take a break” between wildly colorful manicures. It's also probably going to be discontinued soon (there's no option to buy a spoon of this color), so if you think you might want it, buy it now.
