The official description for this color says that it's similar to a peacock feather…which it is, sort of. (Whenever I picture a peacock feather, or see a photo of one, I most instantly notice the teal and the brighter green in the “eyes”.) There is a faint gold sheen to this color, but not enough to pull attention away from the green base shade. Pigmentation levels are about medium, for this shade. I was able to get some really...

Almost a counterpart to Robin the Cradle, but Metamorphosis has a more pronounced gold shimmer - and the base color actually changes slightly depending on the angle the light hits it at, so this color is a true duochrome. You can even see the range of peach and orange on the edges of the duochrome shift. The pink base color is also a bit more visible than the blue in RtC. (My detail shot of the color is blurry as...

The pigmentation levels on this color seem to be a little on the lighter side, compared to blackened colors from other companies. I'd say this is about on par with Bare Escentuals' Rio, in terms of color payoff. This does have a little bit of blackening, but not a heavy amount. This is a very pale blue. I mean, really pale. There's a little bit of shimmer, but the pigmentation is a little lighter than other SCC colors and the color itself is very light. I've had the best luck - the results I was happiest with - using this as a wash over dark cream shadow base, as a highlighter, or foiled all over my lid for a very soft (but not ‘neutral') look. There isn't a whole lot of...

The Store / The Site Your standard Etsy storefront, nothing wildly unique about that. As of this review, there aren't different collections of colors, so you can browse the categories by "everything" or "vegan" - and that's about it. Each of the colors has a very nicely-staged photo of the jar with a tiny "pile" of the product, all three sides of the jar (three jars each displaying a different side,) a swatch photo, and the shadow on the eye. The...
