I'm working behind the scenes, prepping a “favorite colors” list (project in concert with Turtle Beauty/@CydonianMU, Stay Beautiful/@robynheartsslap, and Makeup, Art, and Life/@KimmieKarmaLove), and getting ready to…well, not exactly overhaul things, but close. This is what happens when you've got an insomniac with OCD and a week and a half off work. They create more projects for themselves.

Shatteredshards is kicking off 2011 with a weekly beauty bloggers' writing prompt/challenge. It's a bit like Beauty Blogs' Backstage, in that it gets us to share a bit about ourselves and our blog…but all the questions come from one source, they're available in advance (if you're the preplanning type), and there's no requirement about how long you've been blogging, or how frequently. Want to participate, or just find out more? Check it out!

(The main beefs with mini jars include “not easy to store with all my other fullsized BE jars” and - my personal favorite, because this honestly does make a lot of sense - “they’re harder to open if you have arthritis”. (Which is true. I hadn’t though of that before; but yes, that would be a genuine reason to...
