Morgana Cryptoria’s She Creature

Morgana Cryptoria’s She Creature

There is a bit of shimmer in the pot, but it doesn't really show up after application. This is a less shimmery cousin of Aromaleigh's Drama Teal, with more of the blue coloring and less of the blackening that the entire Drama line has. This also reminds me a bit of MAC's Midnight Blues fluidliner!

This shadow's base color is about halfway between milk and dark chocolate (I've got food on the brain, can you tell?) with a nice silver shimmer finish. I say ‘silver' because the finish doesn't look obviously gold, it doesn't warm the color up, just adds a bit of visual interest. Color payoff is perhaps not as strong as I would like - but about average (or perhaps just slightly to the lighter side) for a non-liner, non-metallic loose-powder eyeshadow. It's...

The other of BFTE’s two winter-holiday kits for 2012. The colors in this had less contrast, and both of the non-neutrals were aqua-blue, so not as many people gravitated toward this kit. When everyone posted their looks using the Miss Conduct kit, I decided to buck the trend and use this kit instead.

Fyrinnae’s Dorian Gray

Fyrinnae’s Dorian Gray

I'll go over the similarities between Dorian Gray and Kuroneko, which might help you choose which Fyrinnae color to buy (unless you decide that they're different enough for you that, yes, you would like both.) DG is more of a dark charcoal base, and is a bit softened. KN is a sharp black base color. DG's shimmer is cool, and not super-obvious even when the color is applied wet. KN has warm (gold and silver) shimmer, which almost verges on...
