A wonderful warm-ish neutral creamy matte…which, sadly, was limited edition. I don't know why Maybelline didn't bring this shade into their regular lineup! It's comparable to MAC's Soft Ochre, maybe a tiny bit lighter. It's a tiny bit deeper and a little warmer than Barely Branded, and Just Beige applies much much better - no uneven spots, and a finish that will look better on more people.
I loved this pencil! This and Midnight Romance were my two favorites from this collection. I did find a few spare Midnight Romance pencils to purchase on Ebay; but not a one of Charming Black. Which makes me kind of sad. While Sephora has a Black Glitter pencil, it isn't as deep and creamy a black, it doesn't apply as smoothly, and it doesn't last as long as Charming Black. I really hope that Milani brings this color back again,...
This was one of the first shades in the Contour Eye Pencil line that caught my attention!
