Milani’s Shadow Eyez pencil in Brown Deluxe

Milani’s Shadow Eyez pencil in Brown Deluxe

In terms of pencil color, this isn't my favorite. Not because it isn't a good shade on me, but because…basic. Basic, basic, basic. Give me blues or purple-greys or greens. Or orange-browns, sandy browns, dark browns…not “cardboard” or “hot cocoa” browns. The pencil quality is good, wear time is about 9-10 hours (over a primer for me, because hooded eyes + oily lids = no primer, no staying power.)

Sephora’s Contour Eye Pencil in Tango Night

Sephora’s Contour Eye Pencil in Tango Night

Applies nicely enough, but a bit unevenly. It isn't quite as patchy as some of the metallic eyeliner pencils I've tried, and it's got better color payoff than some glitter liner pencils I've tried. The glitter is almost more of a microglitter - you get a more granular “shimmer” effect, but I didn't experience any fallout even without putting a coat of sealant over the liner pencil. elf’s Pink mineral blush

elf’s Pink mineral blush

This is just barely a rose-pink…but it's also very light, very sheer. It's great for very fair skin with neutral or cool undertones (or warm, but barely warm). If you have deeper skintones, I would avoid this blush altogether as I don't know that it would show up at all. The elf mineral blushes that I have tend to sit on top of my skin, don't really seem to blend or meld in well. They're not the worst blushes...

Maybelline’s Colorsensational lipstick in Mauvilicious Shine (820)

I've had this one for long enough that I can't remember when I got it. (Sometime in the past three years, I know that much.) It was part of the High Shine colorsensationals, and was limited edition. It's a nice enough shade on me, not as high a shine as might be implied; and a bit deper than the regular Mauvilicious lipstick from Maybelline. I think it's a bit weird that there are two Maybelline lipsticks named “Mauvilicious”, but…there...

BareMinerals’ Spectacle

BareMinerals’ Spectacle

I can't find the name of the kit when this color was originally released; but I think it was in 2011 or 2012. It was available in this year's Big Top kit, which wasn't a fantastic deal for folks who had been loose-powder BE collectors for some time…but for people who are new to the line, it was really great. Spectacle is a softer, almost semi-sheer clear violet.
