Almost a “holiday” red: not overly saturated, not overly bright, but to me it’s halfway between “autumnal” and “Christmassy.”

Rockeresque Beauty’s Tear Drop

Rockeresque Beauty’s Tear Drop

I tend to get this shade a lot. I mean…A LOT a lot. I think I’ve bought this shade from almost every indie company that I’ve bought shadows from. The version from Rockeresque was decent - about average pigmentation, about mid-range in terms of cost, and good staying power.

I like the color, but I kind of wish that it wasn’t microglass fleck. That means I’m not able to use it for stamping, nail art, or much of anything else. Almost a version of Brisket - but with a much lighter gold shimmer. I’ve had this sitting in my back log for a LONG time - it’s been nearly six years since this color’s initial release! I think that there are similar shades for the base color.

TKB Trading’s Pearl White

TKB Trading’s Pearl White

The ‘pearl’ finish on this is a bit too…chunky. A bit too granular, not smooth enough. I’m not a big fan of this particular shadow. It doesn’t work as a highlighter for me, it won’t work as a pearl shadow for me, I’m going to have to get quite creative to figure out some kind of cosmetic use for this one. I’d try putting it in a clear base and using it as a...
