This was the one 2010 “holiday” kit that I purchased, or even wanted to purchase (aside from the Buxom Rock Stars, which was more of a fall release; and the Buxom City Slickers, which was also more of a fall release than a strict “holiday” release.) I think that Present and The Gift may be re-releases, long out of rotation among any BE boutiques or channel partners; but that the other four colors are new.

This kit contained:

• Bauble — light amethyst shimmer
• Garland — champagne-gold sheen
• Mistletoe — soft gold-green shimmer
• Present — pale melon-pink sheen
• The Gift — bronze taupe shimmer
• Tinsel — deep navy-blue sparkle

Before I got these colors, I expected Garland and The Gift to be kind of sleepers. When I swatched the colors...Present was nearly invisible, Mistletoe was a cooler version of Oasis (which means I'll probably have better luck actually using it), and I really loved Garland. It's a gorgeous color. If you love Soul but wish that something was a touch more shimmer, then you'll want to check out Garland. Bauble is similar to Berry Flambe, only slightly more pigmented. In short, this kit is good to purchase if you're a collector, don't have many BE colors yet, or don't have the similar colors. If you're watching your pennies this season, or are on the fence about this kit, wait for a holiday sale.
