Gorgeous, lush, rich purple with strong blue undertones. I definitely think that calling this a “vivid violet-indigo” is right on the mark! I've seen others define this as a “true royal blue”. I don't know of any colors I own that are a close dupe for this, but I may find some similarities. Otherwise…if you're a fan of bright blues or purples, you owe it to yourself to try this color. If you don't want to commit to fullsize right away, try a sample. (If you're reading this post in January or February, keep in mind that Meow has a wonderful history of re-releasing all of their holiday collections annually. They may add a few colors to an existing collection, and they often introduce additional holiday collections especially around Christmas and Halloween, but since 2008 they have never reduced a collection when they've re-released it.

Drunken Relatives is very highly pigmented, so you don't have to use a lot to get a spectacular effect. I can see this being a drop-dead gorgeous liner shade. (Maybe I'll try that one next week…?)
