Meow Cosmetics’ End of Days collection

Admittedly not a collection that sparked my interest. I think I was thrown off because all of the photos had a characteristic look to them that said, “We’ve been Photoshopped a little too much.” Whenever this happens on Meow’s web site, I’m either mildly disappointed, because the color shade and finish are not near what they’re represented to be (a few of the Feliners, some of the colors from Caribbean Escape and Lost Rainforest); or really pleasantly surprised, because the color payoff is truly astounding (ie, the Shattered Equinox collection.) When I finally did try the samples from this collection, I was neither wildly disappointed nor astoundingly pleasantly surprised. The pigmentation levels were good, not necessarily on the same level as Shattered Equinox but good. This collection will be around only until “the end of the era” on the Mayan Long Calendar. After that date, the collection disappears…presumably forever.
