Would you purchase again: yes - but only from etailers, because the tubes aren't sealed
One of the very first makeup products that I bought with my own money was an eye pencil from Wet n Wild. It was "nominally" purple, but it was this same "sterno" purple shade - more like an ultraviolet than a true purple. I liked how it shifted colors slightly. When I started buying the NYX jumbo eye pencils, this wasn't one of my first choices because I felt like I had some ultraviolet pencils, and that I didn't want another whole-lid ultraviolet color. Then Cherryculture had a sale and I caved
This color is a semisheer, so think of this more as an "effects" color or a layering pencil than a standalone color. It works great if you just want an "effects" color, though. It's fun seeing what combinations you can make out of this, a deeper inner-corner accent shade, and a blue liner like MAC's Midnight Blues or Stila's Cobalt.
