NYX Cosmetics’ Jumbo Eye Pencil in Rust

The pencil looks more red than the color actually applies. It's a metallic shade, which means that application is just a bit patchy. This shade looks really good with my coloring, but I do wish that the application was more even. I also wish that there was a metallic maroon color in this collection! This color looks like OPI's Warm and Fozzie - brown with flecks of red, rust, and gold - but a metallic maroon would be amazing. (If it applied evenly, that is…)

I don't know how well this color would look on people with olive undertones or with green eyes. It's a warm color, but the red undertones are fairly strong. If someone has hazel eyes and just the right skin- and hair-color, they might be able to pull it off. (Or someone with green eyes that ‘colorshift' to match whatever is close to them. Greyed green eyes do that fairly well.)
