Revlon’s Colorburst Balmstain in Honey

A medium mauve-nude shade, perhaps half a notch darker than my natural lip color. It's excellent to wear daily because the mauve shade looks just a tiny bit more polished (elegant?) - so when I'm wearing otherwise minimal makeup, this lip color really rounds it off well and pulls everything together. My makeup looks tastefully understated instead of “got an extra half an hour of sleep and still made it into the office by 7:15am.”

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the lip color in the tube; top right, the color applied over bare skin, to better show the shade; and below, the color applied to the lips.

This and Darling are my “daily” shades from this collection. They provide color that's more naturalistic but not sheer. I have already gone through 1/4 of a stick of Honey (and believe me…for me, that's a LOT of use! The only lip product I use faster is my Burt's Bees lip balm, because I wear that at night to help keep my lips soft and healthy.)

This is one of the regular colors in this collection. Walgreen's seems to have sales on Revlon products fairly regularly (it seems like every other month there's a line-wide sale), either BOGOFF or a fairly nice discount.
