...or actually, 42. Well, what's an extra two questions, anyway? I seem to have hit a lull in blogging, so ganked this from Vex in the City. Anyone else wants to play, consider yourself tagged :D

1. How many times do you wash your face daily?
   Most days two, though occasionally only once.
2. What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)
   Combination.
3. What is your current facial wash?
   Lever 2000.
4. Do you exfoliate?
   Yes.
5. What brand do you use?
   Pretty much "whatever's on sale". I exfoliate once a week or so, and as long as I keep my skin moisturized and don't scrub too hard, the brand I use doesn't matter too much.
6. What moisturizer do you use?
   Olay Regenerist microsculpting cream (with Neutrogena SPF 70 applied over that).
7. Do you have freckles?
   A very light, faint sprinkling across my nose and cheeks.
8. Do you use eye cream?
   Yes - Olay again, because it costs less than the very nice, very effective, but very costly serum I was using.
9. Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
   Around my nose and on my chin, yes. Otherwise...not really, not since age 17 or thereabouts.
10. Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
    I never had acne so severe or persistent that I *had* to use any product or prescription. I've chosen to use some of the various salicylic-acid cleansing pads almost daily since I was a teen, and used some spot treatments when necessary.
11. What foundation do you use?
    Meow Cosmetics' Pampered Puss in Sleek Chausie.
12. How about concealer?
    Not concealer as much as corrector. I've tried color correctors from three companies; right now, I'm using Meow's camo palette.
13. Do you know your undertone color?
    Pale pink.
14. What do you think of fake eyelashes?
    I think they can be fun for costuming, but don't personally care to wear them for daily use.
15. Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
    ...so says the mascara industry. I'll check the mascara every time I use it after I've had it for six months, and pitch it the instant it smells or looks off. Otherwise, I'm using it until it's gone.
16. What brand of mascara do you use?
    Bare Escentuals' Flawless Definition, but I'll be transitioning over to Cover Girl's Lash Blast Length once my BE runs out.
17. Sephora or MAC?
    Sephora. Definitely.
18. Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
    Nope.
19. What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
    Brushes and the occasional qtip.
20. Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
    Yes - usually I use cream shadow bases, because I get color as well as primer.
21. For the face?
    No, no primer - just moisturizer, color corrector, foundation, and the rest.
22. What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
    Blue-red, russet, and orange-brown.
23. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
    Both, actually, but most often I'll use gel eyeliner on the upper lashes, a color-powder on the lower lash line, and a pencil on the waterline.
24. How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
    I don't know that I have, though I've gone "outside the lines" quite often. (Hence the need for copious amounts of qtips.)
25. What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
    If you mean "pure pigments", they're good base ingredients. Otherwise, the colors are a bit too strong for me. Some folks define all loose-powder MMU eyeshadows as "pigments", which is a bit misleading...but loose-powder MMU is the only kind of eyeshadow I use.
26. Do you use mineral makeup?
    ...uh, yes. Not exclusively, but damn near.
27. What is your favorite lipstick?
    Bare Escentuals' Amaretto or Aromaleigh v1's Noreservations.
28. How about lipgloss?
    If one counts the BE buxoms as "lip gloss", then my favorite is Dani. Otherwise, I don't use lip gloss.
29. What is your favorite blush to use?
    Meow Cosmetics' Canna.
30. Do you buy your makeup on Ebay?
    Yes, when I either can't find what I want in the stores or when I want to try and find a better deal than retail cost.
31. Do you like drugstore makeup?
    Some of it, yes. Cover Girl's Lip Slicks and Lash Blast Length, some Sally Hansen nail polishes...there's some good stuff, and some not-so-good stuff there. It all depends on one's personal preferences and budget.
32. Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)
    I went once, but since I'm not a gigantic Estee Lauder-brand fangirl, I didn't find much that interested me.
33. Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
    Not seriously, no.
34. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
    Sure, sometimes. I've gotten less so as I've learned, but I occasionally still do a little impromptu abstract art on my face.
35. Name a makeup crime that you hate?
    Do I have to limit it to one? Women who believe that without makeup, they are hideous. Women who wear makeup so that the makeup is what's noticed first (or possibly "at all".) Brand eliteism.
36. Do you like colourful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
    This isn't an either/or question for me. They're both useful - and if you've stuck to neutrals because you don't think you can wear colorful shades, try using something way, way outside your comfort zone...but in a small amount, or layered under a neutral. I'll often use neutral colors for all over and the crease, and put a brighter color in the inner lid corner.
37. Which celebrity always has great make up?
    I don't really pay attention to celebrity photos. (I think there are possibly five others like me on the planet.)
38. If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
    Eyeshadow.
39. Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
    Yes, and I do quite often, though I always use moisturizer and sunscreen. (Otherwise I'd have quite a few more freckles, and possibly would have already had a bit of melanoma.)
40. Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
    Yes, I do. I don't look amazing or glamourous, I'm about average - but even with makeup, I'm pretty, not "stunning". I could probably learn to do some major serious transformation with makeup, but don't care to invest the time/money/energy. I'm happy just doing a little enhancing, and playing with color.
41. In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
    For me, there is no one "best makeup line". I get my products from several different sources. I have tried using all BE, all Aromaleigh, all TSS, all Meow, all Sephora, all L'Oreal...but have found that even in the lines where they have or carry everything, not everything will be perfect for me...or something else will work better. I think that everyone needs to define what they want out of a product, and buy accordingly, and not be afraid to re-evaluate their criteria and their buying habits from time to time.
42. What do you think of makeup?
    I think it can be great fun, and a useful tool. But people shouldn't be fooled into thinking it's a necessity unless it's for their job (fashion, entertainment, et cetera).
