• Install and use a VPN. Yes, for everything. Proton offers encrypted mail, a VPN, and a cloud-drive. It's all free (though the cost is low - if you can afford it, consider paying for an annual plan. You'll be helping those who cannot currently pay.)
• Leave your phone at home as much as possible. Even with location data "turned off", it's still collected - it's just not immediately made available to third parties. Law enforcement can get this data with a proper request.
• Find out how to get a burner phone, for those times when you need a phone to take with you.
