Aromaleigh v2.1’s Leda and the Swan collection

Another collection in the Mythos lineup. This collection, like Orpheus and Eurydice, started out a bit larger and got pared down. A lot of the face colors are still available even 5 years after the initial launch, but half of the eyeshadows have been removed from the lineup. The eyeshadows that remain are a nice color-grouping, though the bolder blue and brighter pink may not be for everyone. I find that while they cover decently, they do tend to have thinner spots, especially when applying with water. (Aromaleigh’s shadows do not like mixing with water.)

I decided against getting any of the face colors from this collection because they’re all fairly…well, fair. They’re a bunch of pinks and brown-golds that might work as highlighters on medium skintones, but might not show up on medium-deep and darker. Plume looks like it might work for me as a medium gold-brown eyeshadow, and Dioskouroi might be a softer coral-pink eyeshadow when applied more heavily.

Four eyeshadows swatched: Kastor, Klytemnestra, Leda, Tyndareus

This collection contained:

  • Flutter (bronzer/highlighter)
  • Quiver (bronzer/highlighter)
  • Plume (bronzer/highlighter)
  • Beat of Wings (blush)
  • Dioskouroi (blush)
  • Guise of a Swan (blush)
  • Swan Song (blush)
  • Kastor
  • Klytemnestra
  • Leda
  • Tyndareus
  • Helene (discontinued)
  • Kykinos (discontinued)
  • Philonoe (discontinued)
  • Phoibe (discontinued)
  • Pollux (discontinued)
  • Timandra (discontinued)

I don't know what colors the discontinued shades were; but honestly, if you're going to delete Pollux you need to remove Kastor as well. Let him go with his brother. Sheesh. Rude.
