I love berry-red eyeshadows, especially if they’re right in the middle zone between “red” and “berry.” I get the red shade without the “she’s got pink-eye” hints that true red eyeshadow can sometimes give someone with my coloring (which doesn’t mean that I don’t wear red eyeshadow, it only means that I have to be a little more careful with surrounding colors and with placement.) I have a few other berry-red eyeshadows, but most of them are just a tiny bit warmer than this one.

This has a satin finish, very nearly matte. It can be a tiny bit balky with the blending, so generally I’ll use some sort of transition shade when blending this with an adjacent eyeshadow.
