The manufacturer describes this shade as a “midtone buff peach rose.” To my eyes, Erato looks like a buff-toned pink in the pot. but applies (for me, at least) with more visible pink than anything else. Aside from the color difference, the coverage is good, and the finish is a sparse faint shimmer. This color is an excellent “go-to” shade for everyday wear - like everything else in the Muse collection. The pigmentation levels are solid as well - no faint whisper of a color, no “blending shades”, nothing that has to be applied wet or over a primer for decent visibility.
