BareMinerals’ 2000s

The first thing you notice when opening the pot is not the color, but the sparkles. 2000s is so light a blue it's nearly white; and so sparkly a pigment powder it looks more like white glitter than anything that's blue. Compare it side by side with white pigments, though, and you can see the slight but definite blue tint.

Like Simply Naturals' Bluebell, this color is not for the timid. It glitters aggressively. In fact, even if you're going to apply either of these shadows wet, just accept the fact that you're going to have tiny amounts of sparkling mica all around your eyes.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
