BareMinerals’ Awestruck blush

This is a bit duskier than I thought it would be. I thought that it might be closer to Vintage Peach, perhaps with a tiny bit more depth and a little more pink. It has more depth…but also is a bit more neutral. The finish is also more subdued than Vintage Peach (which I'm so glad that one finally came available in full size!) There's no shimmer or glow to this one at all. For those looking for a softened coral-cotta shade, this is a very nice blush. It applies well, doesn't fade as the day goes on…but if you are at all on the fence about the shade, just know that by the afternoon this blush seemed to have gotten a bit more orange on me.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the face color in the pot; top right, the face color patted loosely over primer, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the color applied to the cheeks.

I finally did find the blush that I wanted…in an indie blush line smile Femme Fatale's recently-released Daughter of Eve hit all the notes I was looking for: coral-peach with pink tones; gold shimmer; glowing color.
