This is my favorite color from this kit! It's a gorgeous peach-pink that looks especially good over BE's new French Pastry lipstick. I haven't tried this over Marrakech yet, but I suspect that Julie would add just enough pink that the color would look good for a nude-lip look on me, rather than “oh, she's been ill and is just recovering”. (Marrakech is just not a flattering shade on me. And paired with Amber, as it was in the <a href=”/such/obsessive/addictions/bareminerals_buxom_city_slickers_kit/”>Buxom City Slickers</a>...? A definite “no-go”.) I initially thought Julie would be nice enough, but nothing really special.

I should probably stop doing that - preguessing my reactions to the colors based on photos and descriptions. When I first saw the photo for <a href=”/such/obsessive/addictions/bareminerals_buxom_babes_winter_escapade_kit/”>Buxom Babes Winter Escapade</a>, I mentally wrote Joy off as utterly worthless, and thought that Merry would be something of a challenge, and possibly too brown. Instead, those are not only my favorites from that kit, but some of my favorite lip polish colors.
