This is not the first color that I bought from the new Buxom lineup. It wasn’t even in the second batch. But I wanted to tell people about it immediately because…it’s essentially clear with shimmer. Oh, there’s a slight tint to the shimmer. It leans ever so slightly purple. But this isn’t like Dani, which is sheer but is definitely a purple. With Rachel, no matter now many coats you build up on your lips, they’re not going to show purple. Nope, nope, nope.

This is not a total write-off. Nor is it an “avoid at all costs.” This is just, most definitely, a “know what you’re getting” because none of the Buxom displays that I’ve seen - in Sephoras or in Ultas - have Rachel available to test. You can’t try before you buy. And there aren’t as many sites with swatches of the new Buxom shades, unless they’ve been in kits.
