BareMinerals’ Cocktail Hour kit

The makeup is pretty similar to the Simply Seductive kit. Only one shared color between them - and this one has a face color rather than an eyeliner. Based on the prices of the other two-eyeshadows-one-blush kits, I’m going to guess that this one was $34.00 or thereabouts. I don’t even know, for sure, if this was available through QVC. I’m just guessing that it was because that was BE’s primary distribution/publicity channel partner after 2001.. (If anyone has the actual price or release month information, feel free to share them in the comments below!)

I like Soiree. Invitation isn't as much of a favorite for me - I prefer deeper, more jeweltone greens - but it's an attractive shadow with fairly decent color payoff. The blush is one that I can use as a contour shade, or as an eye color. It's not a great color for me, as a blush.

This kit contained:

  • Invitation — pale golden-green shimmer
  • Soirée — medium-deep golden spruce shimmer
  • RSVP blush — light golden-brown pearl
