The 2016 AD kit from BareMinerals. I have not been thrilled with too many of these auto-delivery kits, because lately the ones that haven’t been Ready (pressed shadows) have been…well, more browns. I already have so many browns.

This kit is more neutrals, for the most part; but it has new products which just may be good. It also has a new version of mineral veil, and a new blush. So while this was still at its today’s-special-value price of $54, I snagged two (I tried to get the autodelivery series, but they sold out before I could buy them. I’ve tried calling the folks at QVC, but so far, no joy…)

What attracted me most to this kit were the Diamond Light Mineral Veil (I'm hoping that it's got just a tiny hint of shimmer, and that it's a little cooler than the "regular" mineral veils) and the eye quicksticks. Sometimes, BE's new products or product variations are great - and while these could go either way, I'm intrigued enough to give them a shot. The next kits come out in April 2016, July 2016, and (supposedly) October 2016. The box is a little schmancy: the "holiday" artwork on top, and the box top is padded and covered in some thicker paper that feels like it's supposed to be imitation tanned-skin-of-some-critter (but it isn't, and that's fairly obvious.)
