BareMinerals’ Gala Goddess kit

One of the earlier BE kits, and part of what was probably (not sure, but just guessing because of the timeline) one of their first quarterly-AD kit series. The colors look good together - something which can’t be said for all the BE kits - and, wonder of wonders miracle of miracles, they’re a) widely complementary to multiple different skintones and b) not all some shade of brown.

Make that “not any are some shade of brown.”

BareMinerals’ Gala Goddess kit

Gala is one of my favorite BE blushes (the other being Posh.) It's a nice medium rose pink with not too much shimmer: it shows up fairly nicely, and doesn't make me look clownlike or too childish (bright "baby/bubblegum" pink blushes are not something that I personally think look good on me. Medium roses and cooler deep pinks look more elegant, more refined IMHO.) Elegant is an attractive purple with a soft sparkle, and Champagne is one of my favorite eyeshadows from BE, with the hint of dualcolor and the almost-plush shimmer finish.

This kit contained:

  • Champagne — golden lavender shimmer
  • Elegance — deep violet pearl
  • Gala blush — deep muted pink satin
  • Cocoa Lip Liner
  • Socialista gloss
  • Glamour Lash Mascara
  • Lash Builder Mascara
  • Blending brush
  • Smudge brush
