I think this might have been considered a “grand” kit - just going by the composition. The color items were all infused with something called Happybelle…which didn’t show up in the rest of BE’s lineup, so I’m guessing that they decided that aggressive marketing pushing this particular substance wasn’t paying any increased dividends, so they’d just…sell colors. Heart and Soul have been paired up in a few other BE kits, and since Soul is a great neutral color to use alongside just about any non-neutral shadow, it’s a color combination that works.
I remember the buzz going around about this "happybelle" substance that was supposed to induce a slight euphoria in the wearer. (It's apparently based on monk's pepper, and is a mood enhancer/analgesic; but the effect is strongest when ingesting the berries of the monk's pepper plant, not when rubbing makeup infused with a rather diluted form of this substance all over your face. Kind of like taking aspirin, versus holding a tablet up to your forehead and hoping for the headache to go away? It's not pseudosciene, but it's marketing infused with just enough science to sort of sound credible...to the credulous.) The ingredients in Happybelle provide some anti-aging and moistiruzing/anti-inflammatory properties, but in very minute amounts.
