It only looks like it will apply “too pink” or “too vivid”. When I swatched it over primer, the color was still a nice soft pink - not ballet-pink, not bubblegum-pink, closer to pale tulip-pink. When I applied it normally, on my cheek, the pink was there, but was very soft. There's enough color heft to make this a perfect spring pink, not really a “soft feminine” pink but not a screaming pink either.

This is perhaps one of the better items from the Naturally Luminous kit. When the kit comes out in May, get the kit for the Charbronze liner and the blush. The eyecolors may or may not work for you depending on your coloration and personal preference; but this blush is excellent.
