BareMinerals’ Optimist blush

I wasn't too thrilled with this color when I saw it on QVC. I thought: okay, well, another russet-ish blush. It might work, it might be too dark, I'll just have to see. I wasn't thrilled with the color when I got the kit and saw the blush in person. Okay, I thought, something like Rosy Topaz or Rose Quartz that is going to be a bit too russet-ish.

The color is a bit darker, and definitely orange rather than pink…but it's a tan-melon shade. There is no sparkle to this one, so if you want a sheer wash of color but no shimmer at all, this is a good choice. This definitely looks better than I thought it might.
