BareMinerals’ Perfect 10 kit

Released to commemorate 10 years broadcasting with / on QVC, this kit was somewhat less than loved. Its eye, cheek, and lip colors were created and named by customers, which was nice; but for most people, this kit didn’t have anything of great excitement. Since I was new to BE at the time, and since I’d recently gotten a paycheck from my freelance gig, I bought these kits for relatives and friends, as well as one for myself.

BareMinerals’ Perfect 10 kit

The kit was available only through QVC (though the component parts were, of course, available on Ebay) and contained:

  • Courage — warm orange-red sheen
  • Hero — light orchid-pink sheen
  • Idol — medium purple shimmer
  • Zena — soft pink
  • Tinted Feather Light Mineral Veil
  • Foundation, in your choice of colors
  • Rare Minerals Night Treatment
  • Flawless Application Face Brush
  • Tapered Blush Brush
  • Full Tapered Shadow Brush

I actually kind of liked the eyecolors, though they're not my favorites. The buxom is one of my regular-uses, and until Katie was released, it was the only true pink buxom I'd seen released. The brushes were "meh", the foundation was a waste to someone who does not use BE foundation, the tinted mineral veil was okay, and the night treatment was not at all interesting. So looking back...while this was a nice kit to buy for my various relatives, if I had to do it over again I'd just hit Ebay for the eye colors, blush, and buxom lip polish.
